Rainbow Women's Chorus

About Us

RWC is the only predominantly Lesbian chorus in the South Bay. We sing our songs. We give voice to the history, struggles and joys of our lives and of our community. We make a safe place where all women can feel at home, regardless of sexual orientation, background, race or religion.

Our mission is simple: we sing to enhance the esteem of all women, to celebrate diversity, to promote peace and freedom, and to touch people?s heart and lives.

RWC has improved steadily each year to present top-notch concerts. The most common comment on our audience surveys, year after year, is ?This was your best concert ever!? and it brings our audience back again and again.

We have two major concerts each year. We also take part in the annual "For Love" benefit concert for Next Door: Solutions to Domestic Violence every spring, raising money for support services for battered women and their families. In addition, we sing at events such as diversity celebrations, community gatherings, memorials and are available to sing at private events.

And we LOVE to sing!
