Session 2 of the California Educational Series for LGBT-Owned Small Businesses

In this session, participants will learn how to leverage their certification to grow and scale their businesses and pursue all of the benefits of certification beyond just contracting opportunities.

Topics will include capability statements–the key sales collateral to highlight core competencies, as well as how to update and modernize marketing materials and strategies for an increasingly virtual marketplace. The session will also cover how to navigate the MyNGLCC portal and corporate supplier registration portals.

Participants will also learn how to effectively pitch their business to corporate supplier diversity and procurement professionals. Finally, this session will address how to leverage your certification on the national and local level and how to best utilize the connections and opportunities within your local affiliate chamber network.
