Business Mixer @ SJICA hosted by STEVE SOSNOWSKI of State Farm
Our February mixer will be unique: Sponsored by Steve Sosnowski of State Farm, we will meet at the San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art in the SOFA district in San Jose.
Steve has arranged for fellow member HOBEE's to serve light refreshments. The Institure will sell wine and sparking water. Besides networking and gnoshing, we get to experience the highly LGBTQ-relevant current exhibition Sense of Self.
Our host, Steve Sosnowski of State Farm, began his business tweny years ago - and was an early member of the Rainbow Chamber. Agreeing to host is just one of many examples of his support of and generosity to our organization.
THANKS STEVE!
The San Jose Institure of Contemporary Art presents: Sense of Self, exploring identity and selfhood through the photographs of Marcela Pardo Ariza, Tammy Rae Carland, Erica Deeman, Jamil Hellu, and Stephanie Syjuco. Each artist explores deep concepts around identity – including race, queer identity, gender expression, and cultural lineage.
We invite you to bring a raffle item - all donations of raffle items afford the donor an opportunity to speak about his/her business.
We'll also have some special announcements for you at the event - so don't miss it! A fun evening in an artistic setting. See you there!
Please preregister early - It helps the host plan the food!
