In a recent report by the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce\, it estimates LGBT owned businesses add $1.7B billion to the economy and create tens of thousands of jobs.  It also estimates that nearly 20% of all certified LGBT suppliers are located in the state of California.  These are companies who have an average of 12 years in business and over $2M in sales.  They are strong viable businesses that we believe are an important part of our future success.
